Establishing Our Vision
Recently, our team collaborated together to reconceptualize our vision for the company in one succinct statement: to be the #1 trusted field marketing agency in the U.S.; to build human connection using transparency and creativity in every interaction.
With the rise of the digital age when the company was first started, one of the original visions for Mirus was to drive human connections. We all collectively agreed about the importance of human connection in building trust between our internal team members, our clients, and our field team, as well as helping to build trust for our clients and their target customers.
“Trust is built over time,” said Julie Seal-Gaustad, founder and CEO of Mirus Promotions, Inc. “One of the main goals that we have is to have is to connect brands to their target consumers and build trust in that brand so that they will become loyal customers and raving fans. And how do we do that? Through being transparent, as well as giving people an experience that they won’t forget.”Transparency reveals itself in the face-to-face interactions consumers experience during these brand activations with our ambassadors. Having authentic conversations, being educated about the product, and connecting a friendly face with the brand—all while often having the opportunity to sample—work together to generate genuine customer enthusiasm and loyalty.
This transparency is only achieved when the brand is well-represented, which is why our business model enforces fitting brand ambassadors to each particular brand and ensuring they are trained on the message. Our careful oversight and detailed procedures make certain our field team is trained, educated, and prepared to be a fitting, professional representation of that brand.
We pride ourselves on maintaining transparency amongst our own team and clients and actively implementing our companies six core values: 1) open, honest & ongoing communication, 2) teamwork and family spirit, 3) consistency & efficiency, 4) commitment & determination, 5) leadership, and 6) pursue growth & learning.
“Interestingly, the core values actually presented themselves [when documenting them on paper],” said Julie. She stated how she looked at how she had been running the business, how she recruited and hired people, what type of clients she and her team enjoyed working with, and what she wanted the business to represent. She started brainstorming, creating themes and thinking of what was important in sustaining the company’s vision and mission, and put them into words to stand by. “They’ve been the theme of this company since day one.”
Then that all comes to creativity, whether it comes through the actual marketing event or giveaways, or how to effectively and positively engage with people.
Our vision for Mirus Promotions, Inc. is what drives us to constantly strive for improvement and innovation. It holds true to our relationships with our clients and their target customers, and it leads us to love what we do – and to do it with a purpose in mind!
