- What’s your “Mirus Must Have” brand or product you have represented so far?
Definitely Coldcock Whiskey! I always have a blast doing demos for them. Selling this product comes easily and natural to me. I think Coldcock is great and it’s something I would buy and recommend to all my friends and family. The best part about it is that it’s made in San Diego!
- What’s your favorite activation you’ve worked with us and why?
I was recently assigned to a Coldcock Whiskey activation at a country golf club in Rancho Bernardo. I had such a fun and great time at this event mostly because the purpose of the event was to raise funds for children’s education. The other fun part was the country theme, so attendees dressed like cowboys and cowgirls with boots and hats while country music blasted in the background. It was the best place to offer free samples of whiskey and make lots of Coldcock Whiskey fans! Overall, I was part of a great cause and had the opportunity to show people a great time!
- Can you tell us how working for Mirus has affected your life or what motivates you to work hard at Mirus?
I am so happy to be working for Mirus! I especially love working with Roseanna. She is very professional and someone with a lot of integrity. She continuously offers me great advice, which is reassurance that I am working for a great company. Coming back to the working world was not an easy task. Becoming a brand ambassador for Mirus and now becoming Marvel of the Month has made me feel truly proud of myself and of what I can accomplish. I am grateful to be working for a company that has allowed me to grow into a more confident, vocal, personable and assertive person.
- What movie title would best describe the story of your life and why?
WONDER WOMAN! tada-TA..tada-TAAA! Lol. I love the movie Wonder Woman. I am Wonder Woman. She is strong, beautiful, confident, affectionate and a Warrior Goddess. In fact, every woman is Wonder Woman. Since I was a little girl, I have always admired her. Whenever my family would ask me to get ready because we were going out, I would come down the stairs with my Wonder Woman bathing suit and my mother’s knee high boots on (of course the boots fit me all the way to my hips! haha). Back then, I knew Wonder Woman as “La Mujer Maravilla,” which is the Spanish version of her name and character. Little did I know that one day I would become “La Mujer Maravilla.” My fiancée’s last name just also happens to be Maravilla. Who would have thought?
- Do you have any strange phobias?
I’m not sure if this is a phobia, but I squirm at the sound of cardboard rubbing against each other. Just the sound of a box opening and closing drives me crazy! The sound that’s made when boxes are stacked on top of one another or pulled out of the stack, I just can’t stand it! I cover my ears, but I still get chills and goosebumps all over me. It’s weird to dread the sound that cardboard makes. As long as I don’t have to pack up and move anytime soon, I am good!
- When did you accept a dare that you later regretted?
Just like Wonder Woman, I’m not afraid of a dare! I am always willing to take on any dare as long as it only involves me, I don’t hurt anyone, and it’s not something permanent. Honestly, the dares I should regret the most, are the ones I dare myself to do. One summer in San Felipe, Mexico, I told my friend to dare me to ride as fast as I could through dunes on my four-wheeler. On the last hill, I flew 10 feet in the air, and the four-wheeler flew to the left, I flew to the right and down I went and twisted my ankle. Did that stop me? Nope! That night, I dared myself to go out dancing. Even though I had to get around hopping on one foot, I did not let my ankle defeat me and made the most of my trip.
